Survey highlights the media owners that deliver the highest levels of service
Agencies have named TI Media (formerly Time Inc.) as the best overall media owner to work with in the IPA’s Spring Digital Media Owner Survey. The survey, released today, highlights which media owners deliver the highest levels of service and which have shown a commitment to continually improving their digital standards.

Nearly 90% of respondents (88.0%) agreed or strongly agreed that their overall experience of working with TI Media was a good one. They were closely followed by Media IQ (87.5%), Quantcast (82.5%) and Blis (81.0%).

While TI Media leads overall and among Crossover Media, Media IQ leads among Ad Networks/Exchanges and Sales Houses, and AutoTrader (69.4%) was named by agencies as the best Online Pure Play to work with.

Other key findings:

Media IQ leads five categories, (Understanding of Client Objectives, Dispute Resolution, Ease of Contact, Frequency of Contact and Media Agency / Media Owner Partnership), while Teads tops two categories. Captify, News UK and Unruly reach rank first in one category.

TI Media also led in Quality of Response to Briefs, and scored highly across the board.

Media IQ, News UK and Teads are the most improved media owners – each seeing an increase of 10 percentage points or more in seven categories. Blis and Captify have seen similar increases across four categories each, while Oath, Quantcast and Spotify and seen the same improvement across three categories.

The Spring Survey includes the JICWEBS Digital Trading Standards Group Status of each supplier. Of the 21 listed suppliers, 18 are DTSG Brand Safety Signatories, this means that they have signed up to JICWEBS to be independently verified; while 16 of these are DTSG Certified, meaning the business has had their brand safety policies and processes independently verified, and have received a seal of approval.

Nigel Gwilliam, director of media affairs, IPA said: “This survey equips agencies with the relevant intel about which media owners are consistently demonstrating their commitment to improving the quality of their services, and ensuring better brand safety standards. Congratulations to TI Media for their outstanding results in this survey.”
