This Music Video Presents an Intimate Look into the Life of Jeff Buckley

A few months after the release of Jeff Buckley's original Sky Blue Skin demo, this video clip now illustrates it. The demo was unveiled in August, in honour of the 25th anniversary of his legendary debut album Grace and as part of a massive expansion of Jeff Buckley’s digital catalogue.

The song Sky Blue Skin was recorded during Jeff Buckley’s last visit to the studio, a few months before his death at the age of 30 in May 1997. Produced by the French production company Temple Caché, the animated video is made of collages that include works by Jeff Buckley.

Based on these unpublished writings, the book offers an intimate view of Jeff’s creative process and personal life.

"There have been and probably always will be people to speak for my son, to appropriate his success or to make him say things. By choosing to share these pages with the world, I allow him to express himself, for posterity... and for his fans to see what a nice, funny and wonderful person he was," explains Mary Guibert in a release.
