Production collective //Thirteen & Co has
welcomed director and photographer Patrick Fileti to its roster of
directors, for representation in Australia and New Zealand.
With a
reputation built on powerful, socially conscious filmmaking, Fileti has
always been driven by beauty, humanity and an honesty in his
storytelling. His style combines beautiful and rich imagery and emotive,
genuine performances - creating an intimate character from actors and
non-actors alike.
Says Roy De Giorgio, executive producer, //Thirteen & Co: "Patrick's
work never ceases to amaze me - it has an ability to not only be
striking, but it really speaks to the
soul of the viewer."
His
versatility and international popularity as a director has seen him
create award winning commercials for brands such as Canon, Samsung,
Vodafone and Lexus as well as travel the world filming countless times.
His Coca Cola "Small World" work picked up at over 13 different awards
festivals, including Cannes (3 Gold, 2 Silver, 4
Bronze). His recent
M.J.Bale "Cool Wool" work for TBWA, picked up 3 Bronze pencils at this
year's AWARD Awards.
Says Charity Downing, executive producer at
//Thirteen & Co: "I loved working with Patrick at Collider and Roy
worked with him agency side at Leo Burnett, so it's a natural fit for
us."
Says Fileti: "I'm excited to work with the team at
//Thirteen & Co. Their passion for filmmaking mirrors mine and their
innovative approach to our business is refreshing."
Fileti is
currently in post-production on his latest short film "Inferno" shot in
Mexico. His 2017 short film "Undercurrent" (in support of The Refugee
Council) has been selected at numerous international Film Festivals and
officially premieres next week.
