Iris launches first work for the brand directed by Outsider's Jim Gilchrist

Iris has launched its first work for Haven Holidays since winning the account in a four way pitch in June last year. The new campaign saw a light-hearted and humorous commercial land on Boxing Day alongside exciting creative appearing across multiple channels.

The campaign positions Haven as 'A Breath Of Fresh Air' for British families - a refreshing escape from stressful city living. This new creative is part of a wider strategy aimed at introducing the brand to new audiences and re-engaging those who are already aware of the offering.

Sarah Chapman, Head of Marketing Communications at Haven commented: “The British coast provides the perfect antidote to the restrictions that city life places on families and, with 36 award-winning holiday parks on the Great British coast, Haven has something to suit the needs of all kinds of families.”

The campaign broke on Boxing Day with a new TV commercial 'Road Trip' which focus on two little girls travelling through a Haven holiday park on a go-kart, with their parents, experiencing the huge range of activities Haven has to offer.

Amy Bryson, Managing Partner at Iris said: “We wanted show the freedom families enjoy at Haven and, in a charming way, unpack the huge range of activities on offer.”

The commercial is set to ‘Feel It Still’ by Portugal The Man. It was directed by Jim Gilchrist, through Outsider Films and written by Shaun McIlrath at Iris. The TV will be supported by press advertising, brochures, online and e-CRM.
