International award for premium brands welcomes work from the global luxury sector for the 12th time

The World Luxury Award 2019, the only international award focused entirely on work done for premium brands, is open for entries now.

Held for the 12th time this year, the World Luxury Award focuses on the global luxury sector - unlike any other international programme. Agencies, clients, production and media companies worldwide are invited to submit their best work here. National and international campaigns may compete.

2018 saw outstanding work done for brands like Valentino, Rimowa, Porsche, IWC, Yves Saint Laurent, Lexus, The Macallan. An ad featuring Gigi Hadid - nearly unrecognisable in maybe her most avant-garde appearance yet in the Valentino 2018 ad campaign - won Gold in Fashion Print (created by Ruini Studio). The Black Opium campaign starring YSL beauty ambassador Zoe Kravitz won Gold in the Perfume Campaign category (created by BETC). A PR stunt with Rihanna celebrating her cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty’s 1st Birthday won Gold for Maxmedia.

US agency Team One picked up two Golds - one for Lexus in the Print Campaign category and one for Indian Motorcycle in the Art Direction category. Anomaly Berlin won in the Fashion & Style category with its campaign for Rimowa and the Whiskey brand The Macallan was awarded for its commercial. Ruini Studio won a second Gold Trophy for Valentino men.

Further winners include IWC's film The Watchmaker, CNN for Japan Airlines, Grabarz & Partner for Porsche, TBWA for Woolmark and Pureblink for Empire Communities.

Members of an international jury from ten countries will evaluate the entries across 17 categories. The jury includes Ucef Hanjani, founder and creative director at ceft and company; Barbara Aparo, art director, Fashion TV; Davide Boscacci, group creative director, Publicis Italy; and Rob Wetton, creative consultant, Saatchi & Saatchi.

The Award celebrates the contribution that innovative creative work makes to build luxury brands. It is developed in conjunction with adforum.com. All Entries can be done online.
