The New Promo from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Is a Whirl of ‘70s Psychedelia

The Graft’s Dan Cadan and northern talent Scully are back, with a second stomping video for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

After the success of Black Star Dancing, this time Cadan and Scully whirl us into 70’s psychedelia where Noel and the band give a headlining performance. Intercut with lo-fi graphics and old-school TV reels, this video has all the style and visuals of a trippy throwback.

Dan said: "Reveling in the appreciation and success of our video for Black Star Dancing, Scully and I were abuzz when Noel asked us to collaborate on the video for This Is The Place. Deciding on a complete shift in tone, we took inspiration from videos by Can, Black Sabbath and Madonna, and put together a trippy, visceral and psychedelic assault on the senses to amalgamate those referenced visuals. This Is The Place is another banging track from Noel and the video makes for a suitable and rather splendid companion. Let your ears be dazzled and your eyes pop.”
