The CEO of FCB Shanghai on classic literature, a penchant for cream, and her love of putting on her dancing shoes and getting down with some swing
The CEO landscape in China is, it’s fair to say, traditionally pretty male-dominated and also pretty expat-dominated. A woman and a local of Shanghai, Josephine Pan may not fit the old-school mould, but she’s grown increasingly influential in China’s ad scene, respected for her business drive and ability.

But what you might not know, is that she is also famous for her passion as a swing solo dancer. She is smart, elegant, tasteful and intriguing. That’s why we’ve asked her for her Essential List.

And she loves Poirot as much as we do, so obviously a woman of exquisite taste.
