TBWA’s CCO Peter Souter to Deliver the Second Free Creative Circle Foundation Workshop

TBWA\London Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, Peter Souter, will deliver the second in a series of free educational workshops hosted by charity the Creative Circle Foundation. Souter’s workshop, ‘What Happens Next?’ will tap into his formidable agency and television experience to look at how to write in a way that will add drama.

 

The free workshop, which will take place at the TBWA\London offices on Tuesday 27th February, is part of a series of events being delivered by the Creative Circle Foundation. Future hosts will include industry luminaries such as Quiet Storm Founder, Trevor Robinson, and Creative Circle President and Grey London Chief Creative Officer, Vicki Maguire.

Aimed at young people wanting to break into the industry, the Creative Circle Foundation is addressing the imbalance of diversity in UK creative departments by providing a free full-time course for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Souter began his career in advertising as a copywriter at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO in 1991, moving up the ranks to later become the agency’s ECD. He currently works at TBWA\London as CCO and Chairman. During his illustrious career he has worked on numerous award-winning ads and has acted as president of the D&AD. Alongside advertising, Souter is also a writer. He wrote the ITV drama ‘Single, Married, Other’ which was broadcast in 2010, as well as a number of plays for theatre and radio including Hello/Goodbye which was sold out at the Hampstead Theatre in its first run in 2013.
