TBWA\HAKUHODO Japan was crowned Agency of the Year at last week’s ADFEST 2018, after picking up a total of 11 Lotus awards – three Grande, five Gold, two Silver and one Bronze.
TBWA\HAKUHODO ranked third most awarded company at the festival, and came out top in terms of quality, with COGY Wheelchair picking up Grande in both Direct and Innova categories, and adidas Japan ‘GREEN LIGHT RUN’ also picking up the top award in the Outdoor category.
TBWA\Asia-Pacific had its best ever performance at the festival with a total of 23 Lotus. TBWA\Sydney was amongst the big winners with four Gold awards for Gatorade ‘Bolt Rate’, and two Gold for M.J. Bale ‘Coolest Suit’.
Other contributing agencies were TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno with three Lotus, including Gold for Association of Broadcasters of The Philippines ‘Love Thy Neighbor’; TBWA\Shanghai winning Gold for Penguin ‘Frozen Book’; and TBWA\Thailand with two Lotus for McDonald’s ‘Loving the Bangkok Night’.
