Semaphore London is pleased to announce its partnership with Take Eat Easy. The agency will be responsible for all UK communications strategy and help the business position itself as London’s leading restaurant delivery service for foodies.
Semaphore will help launch the brand in London with a suite of marketing activities focussed on the capital’s discerning foodie market. The businesses are working together on a retained basis during the launch period and hope to extend their relationship for the remainder of 2016.
Take Eat Easy delivers food from over 100 top London restaurants including Ceviche, Sushino En and Rosa’s Thai, and is the only premium restaurant delivery service in the capital to offer ‘Uber-style’ trackable deliveries, powered by a team of London’s fittest bicycle couriers.
Take Eat Easy launched in Brussels in 2013 and is the market leading delivery service in Belgium and France, fast becoming a dominant force in Germany and Spain. It recently completed a €16million capital investment funding round and now has it sights on London.
Chiara Guardascione - Head of Marketing– Take Eat Easy, said: “In a highly competitive landscape with numerous players offering a broadly similar service, the role of carefully crafted, authentic and differentiated communications is absolutely critical when it comes to launching the Take Eat Easy brand in London. As a brand, we believe we have a real edge when it comes to delivering a quality customer experience, and in choosing an agency to help us tell that story, Semaphore stood out head and shoulders above the rest in really understanding and believing in Take Eat Easy’s brand story, and they applied strategic thought, creativity and logic when it came to ways of communicating this. Ultimately, they really ‘got’ the brand and showed genuine passion for wanting to help us build it in the UK. And they also love food too, so we can pay them in pasta.”
“Take Eat Easy is the solution for the discerning foodie with limited time – which is a huge proportion of Londoners. It’s a brand with quality at its heart, and that quality flows through its delicious product and excellent service right into its comms. Take Eat Easy is a fast moving and nimble brand with a smart attitude to communications and a lot of ambition, so they’re a perfect fit for Semaphore.” says Liam Fay-Fright - Founding Partner - Semaphore.
