Portland-based creative agency Swift announces the launch of Flight School, an internship programme giving industry newcomers real-world experience on big clients in a small agency environment.
The name of the programme makes reference to the forward-focused, exciting and upward-moving aspects of flying, a accurate analogy of internship experience.
The programme officially launches this summer. Swift created a microsite that links out from Swift’s page and houses intern info and applications. The programme's Instagram profile also acts as a microsite.
This is Swift’s second mentorship initiative following For The Women, a six-month female-focused programme that functions as a personal success plan with women and female-identifying professionals in creative, business and nonprofit fields to help them gain new tactics for overcoming barriers.
