Nowadays migrants are a very serious issue in Italy, and as a result there are more than 18,000 minors, without parents or relatives, completely alone in a country they don’t know.
Cookies & Partners launched a campaign on TV, print and radio for the Italian Authority for Childhood to find volunteer tutors for these lonely migrant minors, in the same days some newspapers were insinuating that migrants were bringing malaria back in Europe.
"It is a pleasure to be able to contradict this kind of false propaganda," Massimo Guastini, Executive Partner of the agency, claims with satisfaction.
These children need an adult who can support them in this difficult phase of their lives, both for the legal issues and for a moral support. That’s why the tutors will be selected and trained: their help is an important task of great civic value.
That’s why “a volunteer tutor is a proud tutor” - the concept of the whole campaign.
