The Graft’s Dan Cadan and Scully are on fire, with a third video for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. And this one takes a new, narrative-led direction.

It’s true salt of the earth, northern style, following the story of a single mum who meets Santa whilst doing all she can to make sure her kids have gifts at Christmas. Starring 'This Is England’s' Stephen Graham, the video is a tale full of urban grit, northern edge and a message of love and generosity in the festive period. 

Full of palpable urban grit and set to the rock chords of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, this is Christmas cheer at its most real. The lasting message is one of love and generosity.

This time around the directorial duo are pushing a narrative led direction with their Christmas themed video. In a world with increasing financial pressures, Dan comments: “We wanted to highlight the plight that can affect people, especially around Christmas.”

Stevie G is my muse and this is our third collaboration, my second with his incredibly talented wife Hannah Walters and they brought more to this than we could have dreamed – which is part of the package when working with these two actors. Their performances bring further to life Noel’s brilliant music and lyrics and we hope this fills you with Christmas cheer, and strikes chord enough for you to raise a glass to those less fortunate but equally as deserving.”
