The music company's founder and creative director is also a vocalist for the synth-pop band

This weekend saw the launch of Channel 4’s new show, ‘Guy Martin Vs The Robot Car’, which takes a look at autonomous vehicles and features the world’s fastest, driverless car. The show is fronted by British road racer, truck mechanic and TV presenter, Guy Martin.

In the trailer for the investigative and hair-raising series, you can hear the synth-pop beats of London based trio, Social Skills. Their track ‘Hyperactive’, features vocals from Soviet Science (and Social Skills) founder, Scuta Salamanca.

Scuta comments that, "the band came together through a shared love of vintage synths and retro studio equipment." Their music promises to transport listeners into "a world of '70s synths and kaleidoscopic guitar riffs."

The band’s tracks have also been featured on Jenny Von Summer’s ‘The Jelly Film’ on Nowness and TV reality show, Made in Chelsea.
