Coming off a succession of big business wins and a stream of exciting work across multiple industry sectors, SALT.TV have moved to affirm their evolution into a bigger player in the film production sphere with the launch of a brand new website.
Launched alongside a roster refresh, the website features updated work from all directors as well as offering a look at four new additions to the SALT.TV line-up; Jonathan Harris, Beardy & Borgio, Andreas Grassl and Moist Creation. All bring unique talents and experience, from filmmaking that integrates tech and animation, to cinematic visuals featuring cars and stunning vistas.
“As our work evolves, SALT.TV keeps evolving with it. We are now in the brilliant position of offering experience to a wide number of sectors from telecommunication, financial and pharmaceutical giants to high-street brands, fashion powerhouses and automotive manufacturers,” said Managing Director Fiona Harrington. “Our new site represents where we’ve got to, and more importantly where we’re heading”.
A key turning point in SALT.TV’s desire to keep evolving and challenging both clients and their own filmmakers, the site brings to the fore the company’s central philosophy of ADD SOMETHING. It consistently appears in the website messaging, as well as being central under the new crystal logo, both of which are designed to become synonymous with SALT.TV in the future.
“We’ve always been about the human experience. Our increased focus on ADD SOMETHING ensures our clients feel engaged at every touchpoint of the filmmaking journey, which begins the moment our films play on the homepage,” said Company Founder Daniel Fagerson.
Designed by STUDIO BLUP, the site has a crisp black & white aesthetic that allows the striking nature of the production work to shine through large cinematic boxes. Detailed bios for each director and all their films provide deeper understanding of the behind the scenes process, whilst a social media stream keeps users up-to-date. Optimised across mobile, tablet and desktop, and carrying a simplified information architecture, including a new sidebar menu, the site offer a much friendlier and more engaging UX experience.
A first step on the road to future success and
expansion, the website and brand evolution are a signal that SALT.TV are here
to continue making intelligent exciting films that challenge and entertain in
equal measure for a long time to come…
