Richard Fraser Named President of BBDO Southeast Asia

Richard Fraser has been appointed to the role of President, BBDO Southeast Asia, effective from May 1st, 2016.  This is in addition to his current role as Proximity Worldwide’s Regional Managing Director for Asia, Middle East and Africa, based in Singapore.  Fraser will extend his responsibilities across the six BBDO offices in Southeast Asia, reporting to Jean-Paul Burge, Chairman and CEO of BBDO Asia.

Said Burge, "Richard is a proven global marketer with more than 20 years’ experience working with leading brands in the United States, New Zealand, Canada and more than 20 markets throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa. We have worked together for the last eight years and he has been deeply involved in all aspects of our business, both at BBDO and Proximity.  Richard will give our agencies in the region added support to help drive the creative product and growth.”

Fraser has been part of the Proximity global Network for 12 years and is a member of the Proximity Worldwide Executive Committee.  During that time he has been a major contributor to the network’s growth, capability, talent and reputation in the region.  Today, Proximity is one of the leading and most awarded digital and CRM Networks in the region. In addition, Fraser has worked closely with many of BBDO’s global clients.
