R/GA London Appoints Hanan Belarbi as Head of Data

R/GA London has announced the recent hiring of Hanan Belarbi as Head of Data, EMEA. In this newly formed role, Hanan will be responsible for leading the strategic evolution of R/GA London’s global data capability, helping create transformative opportunities for clients and ensuring that data as a capability is built horizontally across each of R/GA’s services. Hanan joins from Naked Communications, where she previously held the role of Head of Data for Europe. She will report into Andrew Lam-Po-Tang, Executive Director for Consulting, R/GA EMEA.

In a world continuously more connected, brands are increasingly creating more information through new forms of disruptive technologies. Despite its importance, data has become one of the most valuable corporate assets that still continues to be unused, or misused. It is this opportunity and potential that drives R/GA’s data capability. The appointment of Hanan will enable the agency to more strategically uncover patterns and detect anomalies that can help clients identify valuable messages, perspectives, relationships, and trends, all connected by data. Hanan will be working closely across all of R/GA’s services to show how data can be used to transform client’s businesses and keep consumers more engaged.

Working at the crossroad between analytics, technology and business, Hanan has spent the last 10 years helping clients in their decision making by being data informed. She has delivered a multitude of projects with various analytical complexity from descriptive to prescriptive analytics.

Prior to joining R/GA, she held the role of Head of Data Europe at Naked Communications, who she joined in 2014. During this time Hanan built and developed high performing teams (Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Insight Analysts) and led them in the delivery of complex analytical projects. While at Naked Communications, she also developed customer segmentations and attribution models for clients such as Virgin Atlantic Airways (VAA), Surfstitch Group and eBay. Prior to Naked Communications, Hanan held the role of Customer Insight Manager on the Shell Account at Wunderman.
