Beautiful, bold and balletic, Rankin's new cover for King Kong will have you reaching for your dancing shoes.
Un-classical ballet was the order of the day for Rankin's cover and inside shoot for the magazine. With the man himself behind the camera and the cast styled by Kim Howells, the dancers twisted and turned around the studio in a series of shots inspired by famous ballet roles; from Romeo and Juliet to Cinderella and Giselle.
Blending high art and high fashion, the visually arresting shoot was informed by the choreography of ballet legend Matthew Bourne, and the performance artistry of the mesmerising Sylvia Palacios Whitman.
The magazine will be revealed exclusively at Dover Street Market and then on fine newsstands and at book stores worldwide thereafter.
