Radio LBB: 38 Songs, 38 Genres

Hello, my name is Simon and I, like you, have lied to the world. Undoubtedly, on several occasions, and most probably to our nearest and dearest. How can I be so sure? Well, at some point in our lives we’ll have been asked the question; “So what kind of music are you into then?” To which we all reply “Oh you know, a bit of everything really.”

LIES. Damn dirty lies. Shame on you. Shame on me. Shame on us all. 

I had to remortgage my flat recently because I have a leaky roof (woe is me) and the lovely gent at Nationwide, upon hearing what I do for a living, exclaimed “Oh mate, my music taste is SO RANDOM! Literally, if you pressed shuffle on my iPod you’d have NO IDEA what would come next. The last three gigs I went to were Drake, Mumford & Sons and Calvin Harris. So random!” despite the fact all three of those artists were on the Radio 1 playlist at the time.

So this playlist is for the mortgage consultant in all of us. 38 songs. 38 genres. All brilliant. Including:
