Publicis One Philippines’ Media brands Starcom and Spark Foundry Add Multiple New Businesses

Publicis One’s media brands Starcom and Spark Foundry have recently been appointed to handle media duties by an array of clients from the technology and food sectors.

In competitive pitches, e-commerce platform Shopee and financial technology application Tala Philippines awarded Starcom for their media planning and buying, while Cherry Mobile appointed Spark Foundry as its digital agency of record. In a similar development, the legendary Max’s Restaurant and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts also appointed Publicis One for assignments including social media management, content creation and events activation.

In choosing to partner with Starcom, Tala Philippines Marketing Manager Emil Erasmo said, “Starcom’s cost-efficient package negotiations and their diversified suite of services will help us further grow our business.” Shopee Assistant Marketing Manager Allen Yu, on the other hand, stressed that “Starcom’s media network, negotiating capability and turnaround times” facilitated their decision to award their media planning and buying business to the agency.

In awarding the digital duties to data-led media agency Spark Foundry, Cherry Mobile Marketing Head Bel Laureola, said, “Cherry Mobile has been continuously evolving in all fronts since its inception 9 years ago. Aligned with the brand’s mission in making up-to-date mobile technology accessible to more Filipinos, we chose Spark Foundry as our suitable digital partner to help our brand stay relevant in our customer’s digital journey.”

The appointments by Max’s Restaurant and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are in recognition of Publicis One’s multi-faceted offering which harnesses new technology to tell brand stories and engage with audiences across all channels.

Citing these new significant business assignments, Gladys Basinillo, Starcom Chief Growth Officer, said “When I started my new role in Starcom at the start of the year, I committed to continue the development and growth of the media agency, and I banked on the most talented people in our industry. These new business wins and assignments from across industries is a testament of our collective efforts that has captured the passion and process that we bring to our clients’ businesses.” “We, at Starcom and Spark Foundry will continue to evolve into a media powerhouse and innovator to drive deeper impact for our clients,” she added.
