Ben moves into the role from his current position as Posterscope’s head of platforms and partnerships in APAC

Posterscope has today announced that Ben Milne has been appointed managing director of its international division, PSI.

Ben will be responsible for driving the continued growth of the PSI business and ensuring that it maintains its strategic, commercial, product and service leadership position across the increasingly important international travel marketing sector.

Whilst out of home advertising in international travel hubs remains at the core of PSI’s activity, it also provides highly targeted communications solutions across the entire travel corridor, from point of booking to destination. This broader, integrated approach will be a key driver of PSI’s future growth.

Ben moves into the role from his current position as Posterscope’s head of platforms and partnerships in APAC, where he has worked alongside the Dentsu Inc. OOH division to establish Posterscope in Japan and more recently to accelerate Posterscope’s data and automation strategies in the region.

Prior to this, Ben held a wide variety of roles with Posterscope over a 20-year career with the business. As well as several stints in the London office, he has held senior roles in international offices including Russia and was previously the MD of Posterscope China.

Ben replaces James McEwan, who is leaving for a new role outside of the media industry and will take up the position in September.

Stephen Whyte, global president of Posterscope Worldwide, said of the appointment: “Ben is a true internationalist, is absolutely passionate about Out-of-Home and an expert on our product, technology and data capabilities. His strong connections around our worldwide network will be a real asset for PSI’s clients, as will his leadership experience and energy.”

Ben Milne added: “It is a very exciting time to be joining PSI. Global traveller numbers are at an all-time high and the environments and ways in which we can engage them across the entire journey, fuelled by data and technology, are better than ever before. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues across the globe to continue creating world class location-based marketing solutions that engage audiences throughout the global travel corridor.”
