Continuing this initiative, they have adopted various zero-waste and carbon-neutral practices to create more sustainable film production sets. With this mentality they join a collective effort, helmed by innovators like AdGreen founder Jo Coombes, to raise awareness that waste reduction is an inherently important part of any business

As a production company that is involved in very hands-on creative processes, the inevitable is there will be unavoidable by-products that are wastefully discarded. In response to this industry-wide issue, Electriclimefilms has been putting their own processes under scrutiny. Their aim is to persistently make overall production and operation more sustainable by reducing waste and reliance on disposable plastics and other pollutants. As a result, these acts have reduced costs and contributed to efficiency throughout their business model. Challenging factors with making such a drastic and fundamental change have resulted from lack of sense of urgency and resources.

But Electriclimefilms has found ways to push through those obstacles. They were early adopters of using recyclable and compostable food & beverage packaging and paper products on set - preventing unnecessary plastic waste from food vendors and caterers.
