We’re trying our best to keep on top of the myriad of releases dropping all around us this week by obnoxiously blaring every new track that comes our way at maximum volume until our vision blurs. Here’s 5 tracks that have piqued our interest this week!
The Link is About to Die
Los Bitchos
5-piece London outfit, Los Bitchos have this week released the triumphant, guitar driven instrumental epic, ‘The Link is About to Die’. Flavoured with bongos, a killer guitar hook and soaring synths, the track is a ride of cinematic mood changes.
Glorious
Sudan Archives
LA based violinist and singer Sudan Archives has released the second track, ‘Glorious’, from her upcoming album, Athena. The new track heavily features Archives’ violin work as well as fellow Ohioan and rapper D-Eight.
Gulf Shores - Tiger & Woods Remix
Local Natives
London club duo, Tiger & Woods, have this week dropped a rework of Local Natives’ psychedelic and transformative track, ‘Gulf Shores’. What was once an airy ballad has been morphed into a pulsing electro dance track dipped in acid disco.
White
Kat Koan
Berlin based producer, Kat Koan has this week released ‘White’, a dark and consuming track filled with abrasive tension. Based around the core emotions of meeting someone new for the first time, the track explores the raw feeling of wanted to know someone further.
Rangerover
Porches
With fellow New Yorker Blood Orange lending a hand on vocals, Porches has dropped his new single ‘Rangerover’. With caramel synths and gated drums, the new track is an 80s inspired slow burner that sits back into the groove perfectly.
