Pitch and Sync has broken down its top five tracks of the week in its latest edition of Tracks of The Week. This weeks selection includes tracks from Christine and The Queens, Bearcubs, narou, Peel Dream Magazine, I break Horses and Daisies.

'People, I’ve been sad' by Christine and The Queens

French singer, songwriter, choreographer and dancer Christine and The Queens has released new slow jammer ‘People, I’ve been sad’, the first release since featuring on Charlie XCXs album last year. Vowing to spend more time on self care, the new track reflects on the imbalance of time spent on others and her intent to shift back into equilibrium.

'Overthinking' by Bearcubs, narou

Atmospheric electronic artist Bearcubs has teamed up with fellow producer narou on ‘Overthinking’, the first taste of Bearcubs new album, Early Hours, due out later this year. Featuring swelling synths and Bearcubs signature steel drums the new track has serious groovy, morning vibes.

'Pill' by Peel Dream Magazine

Soft vocals and bustling percussion penetrates through fuzzy walls of ambient sound in the new Peel Dream Magazine track ‘Pill’. Careful not to melt into your chair with this one!

'Death Engine' by I Break Horses

Stockholm producer I Break Horses has released anthemic, electronic-shoegaze banger ‘Death Engine’, a blissful cacophony of spiralling synths and soaring vocals. After just about five years without a release, we’re extremely happy to have her back in our ears and hopeful we won’t have to wait much longer for the rest of the record!

'Everybody’s Moving to London' by Daisies

Washington duo Daisies (named after the acid loving denizens of the late 80s early 90s rave era) have dropped the first single ‘Everybody’s moving to London’ off their upcoming record Cherries. Jam packed with energetic beats, layers keys and singer Valerie Warren’s charming vocals.
