Intense film marks the first collaboration between director’s representation agency Nicholas Berglund and filmmaking group PANTERA

'Be more human' marks the first film done with the help of Nicholas Berglund for the Chinese market by the amazingly creative collective PANTERA.

The platform launched a couple of years ago by "shining a light on the tough fitness community, the 'fitness freaks'—and letting them know, 'We get you'.

Argentinian collective Pantera is a group of filmmakers composed by Pato Martinez, Brian Kazez and Francisco Canton. Over the past five years they’ve shot commercials for brands like Nike, Mercedes Benz, Adidas, and Valvoline. The trio has recently received a Bronze Lion in Cannes for film craft/direction and Silver in YDA and is signed globally with anonymous content and with bwgtbld for German territory. They started working together around 4 years ago, first for fashion brands, music projects and advertising and quickly evolved into a ‘creative studio’, housing work of other directors, photographers and producers. Today they run a production called ‘Pantera&Co’, based in Buenos Aires.

‘’We bounce ideas off of each other constantly and are present during preproduction and post production of each other’s projects, sometimes even direct as duo or the three of us is the project is demanding enough”

“It’s always hard to describe our work given that each one of us brings a different mark to each project and we also shoot a lot of projects individually. The three of us are really into still photography and we do it constantly, one of us is a musician and the three of us grew into this career editing our own stuff... So there’s usually a lot of work around how we want each project to look like and sound like, and how to merge these disciplines together in the strongest possible way.”

“The benefit of being three is that we’re constantly doing different projects that demand different ways of working, which keeps our body of work a bit eclectic. Also, we can approach projects as a team which makes us constantly question the decisions we make and be on top of every detail no matter how insignificant it might seem. We try to leave our mark in every film no matter what kind of project it is.”
