Octopus Inc Hires Director Favourite Colour: Black

Octopus Inc continue their recruitment drive with the recent signing of esteemed VFX and live-action director Favourite Colour: Black.

Known for his high end in-camera technical knowledge as well as his dark, visual artistry, Chris Turner, AKA Favourite Colour: Black, has worked across many brands such as Jaguar, Adidas and Honda where his acclaimed film “The Evolution of Stunts” featured stuntman Damien Walters being lit on fire whilst recreating cinema’s most famous film stunts.

Chris is also known for his collaborations with artists such as Birdy, Hurts, Jay-Z and Jax Jones, creating award winning music videos and visuals for global talent. With a strong background in design and art direction, Chris often uses his photographic eye to capture stunning B&W still imagery of his subjects on set.

His film projects have screened at Raindance, The London Short Film Festival, The Berlin Fashion Film Festival, OneDotZero, The BFI Gothic Season, The San Francisco Dance Film Festival, 1.4 and Channel 4's Random Acts.

His latest fashion film - 'Every Carcass Like A Diamond' - made official selection at the Istanbul Fashion Festival 2022, whilst his most recent horror short 'Leopard Heels' continues its journey on the international 2022 festival circuit - having been screened at several, including ScreamFest in LA.
