Today sees the launch of Spicy Signal, Amsterdam’s latest sound agency, dedicated exclusively to electronic music. The agency crafts identifiable, memorable music to make brands stand out against white noise.
Spicy Signal harnesses electronic music, the fastest-growing musical genre and the most shared music type on social media, to allow brands to reach a millennial audience. The agency is also collaborating with analysis service MusicinBrands, which defines audience music preferences using social media data.
Florent Turpin, founder of Spicy Signal, comments: “Launching the agency is a really exciting step to help brands better engage with the millennial market. Working with MusicinBrands means we can marry social media data preferences in electronic music to brands’ needs. This will decode the soundtrack that audiences most respond to and open new creative opportunities.”
William Pen, music strategist at MusicinBrands, adds: “This age group (18-35 years old) understands and relates to the electronic genre, so it makes sense for brands to acknowledge this, and engage better with them. Using social media insights will only enhance the connection.”
Spicy Signal provides customised electronic music production, electronic music search and licensing, brand sound strategy, creative sound design and audio mastering.
