New Coldplay Promo Features a Beautiful Solo Ice Skating Performance

Director Joe Connor, along with VFX house CherryCherry, has produced this beauty of video for Coldplay. Entitled ‘Everglow’, it was shot in an empty ice skating arena in Hamburg and creates a beautiful story to reflect the lyrics to this song.

CCVFX were responsible for over 40 VFX shots, the main task being removing an ice skating partner from every shot with the hero dancer. Additionally, they had to deal with rebuilding and re-tracking over two and a half minutes of background, dealing with ice reflection and complex body contact shots.
