Passion Pictures directorial team, Musuta, have recently completed ‘Resolve’, a moving film for CMI (Crisis management Initiative), a non-governmental organisation founded by Finnish President, Martti Ahtisaari. CMI are leaders in their field, working to prevent and resolve violent conflicts and forge lasting peace.
Says Timo Ramu (Musuta co-founder, with Jopsu Ramu), “This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to President Ahtisaari. We feel incredibly honoured to commemorate the Nobel and work with CMI to create this tribute.”
“In creating ‘Resolve’, we have tried to capture the confusion and fear of war, for which we have only abstract tools to help us comprehend. Even in the grip of this darkness, human nature compels us to try to find empathy and courage – to rise out from the depths of conflict, towards the light of a new beginning."
