Today, Momentum Worldwide announces the appointment of Luke D’Arcy to the position of global Chief Marketing Officer. The role will see D’Arcy partnering with the agency’s Chief Creative and Innovation Officer Jon Hamm to lead all marketing and communications for the Momentum brand. Kevin McNulty, who previously held the CMO role, was recently named President, International, responsible for the business growth, product, strategy, development and marketing across EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.

As CMO, D’Arcy will direct all communications, branding, marketing and new business activities for the company’s offices in 50+ countries. Prior, D’Arcy served as Momentum’s Chief Growth Officer, and will manage the responsibilities of that role until they are transitioned in the near future.

Chris Weil, Chairman & CEO of Momentum Worldwide comments: "Given Momentum's dedication to providing total brand experience for some of the most important brands around the world, Luke is the ideal leader for creating new partnerships that strengthen and evolve this brand promise," said Weil.

“Luke has the perspective and experience across categories and geographies to create the kind of relationships that will expand possibilities for both our clients brand and our own -- and I'm excited to see him flourish in this role."

Jon Hamm, Chief Creative and Innovation Officer at Momentum Worldwide adds: “Luke’s new business track record, great global relationships and untiring passion for our brand and what we stand for made him the obvious choice to lead our continued growth across our international markets.”

"It's a great role and I am looking forward to building a even stronger and more dynamic Momentum Worldwide brand across the globe,” said D’Arcy of his newest role at Momentum Worldwide.

D’Arcy rejoined Momentum in 2010 as Director of Business Development for EMEA, before rising to Chief Growth Officer, after working directly with Sir Richard Branson to launch the Virgin Racing F1 Team.

From 1996-2001, D’Arcy was new business director for network agency Euro RSCG KLP twice seeing the shop win Marketing Week’s Agency of the year and picking up Euro RSCG’s internal New Business Agency of the Year award. He was also a partner of leading global independent agency Iris, where he served from 2006-2009.
