Mini-Docs Showcase Sweetgreen’s Partnership with Blue Hill Chef Dan Barber

This autumn, American restaurant chain Sweetgreen celebrated the launch of its nationwide collaboration with chef Dan Barber and Row 7 Seed Company.

Picture Farm’s Andrew David Watson has directed a series of films to promote the collaboration, exploring the world of seeds and how Sweetgreen, Dan and Row 7 approach food and flavour.

For background, Row 7 is a new seed company that places flavour first by pairing chefs and plant breeders together in the development of new varieties of vegetables. Sweetgreen is the first mass-scale partner to work with Row 7 in its mission to make better ingredients more accessible to everyone.

The collaboration celebrates seed varieties across the country through sweetgreen’s community of growers and customers. With over 150 local farmers, six of whom planted and harvested over 23 acres of Row 7's Koginut Squash, sweetgreen shares Row 7's commitment to delicious, sustainable and nutritious food from the ground up.
