The spot features Aleksandr sharing his words of wisdom to clear up any confusion across a wide range of insurance, personal finance and energy products
Health insurance comparison service Compare the Market has launched the next instalment of its Simplesness series to the nation with its latest TVC via VCCP Sydney.

The TVC - 'Relax' - sees our favourite meerkats stretch and hum their way to Simplesness, a state of mind designed to empower people to save time and money, whilst helping neighbour Beryl understand the upcoming health insurance reforms. Sergei on the other hand has more important tasks to concentrate on... such as how he'll ever get out of his backbend pose!

CTM - Relax - Still 2.jpgAs the meerkats become closer with their neighbours at Brushtail Place (including Zen-like Beryl), Aleksandr continues to share his words of wisdom to clear up any confusion across a wide range of insurance, personal finance and energy products. Beryl is especially bewildered by the four tiers of hospital cover introduced from April 1 and Compare the Market understands most consumers feel the same way and are here to help empower them to confidently navigate the health changes ahead.

Says Jennifer Williams, chief marketing officer, Compare the Market:"Aleksandr and Sergei are here to remind customers they don't need to struggle to understand the complex health reforms alone, Compare the Market can shed light on the topic and help them find the best value in the product they choose. The introduction of the Gold, Silver, Bronze or Basic tier system will beg the question, what does this mean for me? We're here to help explain these changes and save consumers both time and money."

The health reforms, which will change the majority of insurance policies whether it's the name, price or coverage, includes a tiered classification system, standardised clinical terms, and the removal of claimable benefits for some natural therapies such as Pilates, homeopathy and tai chi.

Says Williams: "In this TVC, we want to express that customers shouldn't necessarily 'go for gold' when it comes to selecting their hospital or extras cover. It's natural to question your product tier just like Beryl, but before you worry that a Bronze or even Silver policy is somehow an inferior option, speak to a health expert about which cover type best suits your needs. We help thousands of consumers across their many insurance products, bending over backwards to see if we can find them a better value policy so they can rest easy."
