Reports revealed more than 80% of MediaCom UK’s workforce hold entry-level to mid-management-level job roles

MediaCom UK has today published its gender pay report for 2017. This report shows that MediaCom UK, which includes MediaCom Holdings (UK London agency and World Wide employees based in London) and MediaCom North (employees based in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds), has a median gender pay gap of 13.8%.

Within offices, MediaCom Holdings has a median gender pay gap of 11.1%. MediaCom North has a median pay gap of 15.7%, and MediaCom London has a median pay gap of 10.7%. These figures are all lower than the national average which currently sits at 18.4%.

At the time that the data was collected, more than 80% of MediaCom UK’s workforce hold entry-level to mid-management-level job roles. The median Gender Pay Gap for this population is 2.9%.

Josh Krichefski, CEO of MediaCom UK said: “While we’re happy our gender pay gap is below the national average, there is work to be done. It’s our mission to continue reducing our gender pay gap to the point where it simply doesn’t exist. We have a number of programmes and initiatives in place to help us achieve this. These include ensuring gender-neutral hiring opportunities, preventing bias by ensuring every hiring panel is split equally between male and female, and launching unconscious bias training for all employees. Additionally, while we have a 50:50 gender split on the UK board, by 2023 our goal is to deliver gender balance across senior management.”
