McCann Sydney has lured Affinity creative lead
Marcus Tesoriero to become its new creative director, working alongside
executive creative director Jerker Fagerström.
Australian
industry heavyweight Tesoriero brings with him extensive experience
across traditional and digital fields, as well as specific expertise in
mobile and data-driven creative, that will help drive McCann to new
heights.
Says Adam Lee, managing director, McCann Sydney: "Marcus
and I have worked together previously and we're thrilled to have him on
board at McCann Sydney. Marcus has developed a rather unique and
well-blended skill set that will serve us well. His passion and drive
for invention and new forms of storytelling will help us continue to
push the creative output of the agency."
Throughout his 17 year
agency career, Tesoriero has collected a raft of local and international
awards, from Australian Effies to coveted Lions from Cannes. His client
list spans the likes of Audi, American Express, Qantas, The
Commonwealth Bank, Lion Nathan, The RTA, Unilever and Coca Cola, and he
has held senior creative roles at a succession of large integrated
agencies such as DDB and Ogilvy, as well as more specialised digital
shops such as The White Agency, AnalogFolk, DT Digital and Affinity.
