The Stitch editor cut the neon-lit action romp from BlinkInk director Noah Harris
Suzuki Cars’ bold new campaign is set on a fairground dodgem ride showing Suzuki cars unleashed in a world of bright lights and fun, underpinned by the line 'Enjoy the Ride.’
Directed by BlinkInk’s Noah Harris and cut by Max Windows, the spot introduces a fast paced dodgems track where Suzuki cars move in carefully choreographed sequences.

Shot in Slovenia over five days the shoot involved 10 stunt drivers and a set-built dodgems area with music by Sonz of a Loop De Loop Era’s 'Far Out'.

This high energy piece is one of many films Noah has worked on with Max, commenting on their relationship Noah said: “Editing is a really fun part of the process for me and it’s important I work with someone who is not only seriously talented but that I like hanging out with too. I like to establish working relationships with key people. You get to grow together, learn each other’s foibles and develop a shorthand.”

Max, who won several awards with the Eon x Gorillaz commercial and the Salvation film for Village Green, both of which he worked on with Noah, commented: “Suzuki was a dream to edit, lots of rushes and great moves from the drivers in such a confined space as a dodgem track in a studio.

"Working with Noah is always fun, challenging and really rewarding, he has many feathers to his bow which is shown in the diverse range of mediums in his work. Noah has a knack for bringing many different worlds to life and combines them perfectly.”

Although, as is often the case, there was a tight turnaround time, Max thought the particular challenge was the music, “finding a nostalgic track to accompany the visuals that has not been used before was key and ‘Far Out’ by Sonz Of A Loop De Loop from the '90s rave era was a perfect fit."

Running from January 8th this Suzuki spot will be include a 60" along with 30” and 10” cut-downs.
