FCB Global CCO Susan Credle announced today that Madhu Malhan has joined the agency network as senior vice president and director of global creative services. In this position, Malhan will lead the network in establishing innovative creative solutions for client partners around the world, reporting into Credle.

Malhan will partner with Credle to provide a strategic point of view and benchmark for the agency’s Global Creative Council (GCC), which consists of the network’s worldwide CCOs. She will help to ensure that the best work is seen and recognised at the highest level and on the largest stage. Additionally, Malhan will work with Fred Levron, worldwide creative partner, FCB Global, to develop new creative programs to advance the agency’s creative bar for talent outreach and connectivity.

She will help the agency to grow by tapping into the best creative resources in the network through identifying and mapping out outstanding industry creative talent, setting agency-wide creative priorities, and strongly representing FCB among clients and prospective new business. She will also partner with FCB chief creative officers to strengthen the network’s jury and award show submissions.

Born in India and raised in Africa and South America, Malhan has a unique global perspective from residing on four continents. She will strategically aid in FCB’s ongoing commitment to raise the creative calibre of the agency to produce “Never Finished” ideas for big brands.

A diversity and inclusion champion, Malhan most recently served for a decade as senior vice president and director of creative culture at Publicis USA, managing all aspects of creative, including talent, awards and culture. Prior to this role, she served as Partner and Minister of Culture at Ogilvy & Mather. She began her career with the Ad Club of NY and International ANDY Awards, where she spent 14 years building critical relationships with industry-leading associations, developing global awards strategies and amplifying creative representation.

“Madhu brings a wealth of experience and leadership to this position and will be critical to our success as we continue to elevate our creative portfolio, reputation and culture across the network. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Madhu over the years, primarily through the Ad Club of New York, sponsor of the International ANDY awards, where she played a critical role in raising the prestige and profile of this show while working with top creative leaders from across the globe,” said Susan Credle, gslobal CCO, FCB.

Speaking on her new role Malhan said, “Susan’s commitment to creating ‘Never Finished’ ideas is second to none, and I am delighted to join the agency at such a momentous time to help FCB author the next chapter of its creative success.”

A proud mother and Brooklynite, Malhan is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing Communications. She has received creative accolades from the American Advertising Federation, as well as earning the 2007 “Role Model” award from AAF Diversity, a One Show Bronze Pencil for “Brotherhood Exhibit,” and the President’s Award from the Advertising Club of New York in 1992.
