Effie Pappa


Effie Pappa is the winner of the prestigious 25th McLaren Award for Best British Animation at Edinburgh International Film Festival 2014 for her stop-motion short, MY STUFFED GRANNY. A 2014 National Film & Television School graduate, Pappa’s previous short film 1.2 MILLION CHILDREN was selected for more than 40 film festivals worldwide and theatrical release in her home country, Greece.


Lawrence Blankenbyl


Lawrence Blankenbyl is a multi-faceted talent and we can’t over express the ability and passion that he has for moving image. From a graphic design background to a Gold Cannes Lion for his work on The Pet Shop Boy’s ‘Integral’ promo, Lawrence’s career has been highly creative & immersive. A two year artistic residency at Fabrica, his feature documentary RWANDA AGAIN playing internationally at film festivals and his short film SKINNY BOY with it’s world premiere at the Locarno International Film Festival in 2013. This former New Zealand New Media & Design Ambassador is a highly creative and industrious director.


Lucio Arese


Lucio Arese is a film-maker with a background in architecture, music composition and graphic design. His film, MIMIC, is a reflection of the personal union of music and images built through animation and strongly showcases an architectural influence. Selected for the Saatchi New Director Showcase 2013, Arese’s films have been screened worldwide at festivals dedicated to Digital Arts. His client list includes Asics & Onitsuka Tiger.
