Mad Cow Films has announced the arrival of Pernille Raven as its new Head of Content.

With a background in communications, branding and digital media and a heavy focus on content development and production, she has worked both agency and brand side as well as within the digital start-up world, which gives her a solid foundation for understanding client needs across categories and transforming those into relevant content formats.

Pete Chambers, Executive Producer at Mad Cow said: “Raven has an innate understanding of clients needs having worked both for agencies and brands in the past. I’m confident that she’s the right person to lead Mad Cow’s Content team, to establish long-term brand partnerships & to create original programming ideas that Mad Cow will look to produce.”

Prior to joining Mad Cow Films, Raven worked as Head of Branded Content for Crane.tv/Cult Global - a video magazine turned content agency - delivering work for clients like Burger King, Marks and Spencer and Davidoff Cool Water.

With Dentsu Aegis and Omnicom Media Group, she worked on developing new content offerings and as Media Director for the legendary Rucker Park street basketball tournament in New York, she built the digital brand from scratch and partnered with companies like Bacardi, Sprite and AT&T to create content.

She is also a returning lecturer at a number of creative schools including Hyper Island and frequently speaks at events and conferences around the world, from Cannes Lions (2017) to Internet Age Media (2016) and The Danish Parliament (2015). In 2015, she was announced as one of Denmark's top 100 business talents in 2015 by Danish newspaper Berlingske Business.

Raven says: “I am extremely excited to join Mad Cow Films where there’s a true passion for the art of telling a story relevant to who’s going to watch it. That’s the foundation for good content creation.”
