Luxury Brand Clive Christian Appoints Huge as Digital Agency
Eponymous British luxury brand, Clive Christian, has appointed Huge as its digital agency, and will also be utilising the agency’s creative expertise to develop future campaigns for new product launches. The appointment was made without a formal pitch process, is effective immediately and forms a cornerstone of the brand’s investment plans to accelerate growth following the purchase of the majority shareholding from its founder last September.
Huge’s first task will be to overhaul the brand’s digital presence for its fragrance business, including the redesign and build of its online platforms as well as the creation and launch of a dedicated ecommerce site, due to go live in the summer of 2016. Huge’s overarching objective will be to help grow the Clive Christian brand across both Interiors and fragrance in key markets, broadening its audience while maintaining the brand’s uber luxury credentials.
Clive Christian first rose to fame as the creator of iconic, statement kitchens and bespoke interiors. In 1999 Clive Christian leveraged his founding principles of creativity, artistry and craftsmanship to revive The Crown Perfumery Co, originally launched in 1872. The brand is well regarded globally for its unashamedly opulent designs as well as the crown-shaped bottle stoppers, which Queen Victoria awarded the company sole right to use as a symbol of its quality and excellence.
Amy Nelson-Bennett, group CEO at Clive Christian Holdings Ltd commented: “We were looking for a partner that would be able to take us through a complete digital design transformation and build our ecommerce offering. Huge’s expertise across the board makes them the ideal partner as we embark on the next phase of our growth.”
Lee Woodard, managing director, Huge London added: “Clive Christian is an iconic luxury brand with exciting plans for the future. We’re delighted to partner with such a passionate team as they look to take the brand towards the next stage of its development.”
