Kaitlyn Rikkers Joins barrettSF as Senior Digital Media Strategist
barrettSF has hired Kaitlyn Rikkers as a senior digital media strategist, announced co-founder and executive creative director Jamie Barrett. Her role became effective on December 1. Rikkers joins the rapidly growing digital and strategic arm at barrettSF.
"More and more, we’re looking in nontraditional areas for our hires. Kaitlyn’s non-agency background gives her a unique perspective. Having built her own media company, she also shares our entrepreneurial energy and mindset. She will be a leader at barrettSF,” said Barrett.
Rikkers comes to barrettSF with a wealth of digital marketing experience. Most recently, she worked at San Francisco shop Yes Lifecycle Marketing, where she was senior digital manager for the Lands’ End account and is credited with taking Lands’ End from a classic print-based brand to one that pursued new customers outside the reach of traditional advertising and media. Prior to that, she helped co-found the social agency Media Beard, based in the U.K.
Rikkers will take an active role in new business and work across all barrettSF accounts, including Yellow Pages, 2K Games, Bleacher Report, and Rubio’s Coastal Grill.
