Jack Morton Grows Team in Greater China Following Multiple Account Wins

Natalie Ackerman promoted to EVP, Greater China, Eugene Ng is promoted to head of creative in Shanghai and more

Following a highly successful first quarter of 2018, which has seen the Greater China offices of Jack Morton secure multiple new client contracts, the agency today announces a number of key senior-level promotions.  The new contracts include work with Marriott International, Rolls-Royce, Scania and Harley-Davidson. 

Natalie Ackerman, who heads up the agency’s Greater China operations, which encompass the Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing offices, has been promoted to executive vice president and as such joins the agency’s Executive Team.  The promotion recognises the role Natalie has played in the growth of Jack Morton’s operations in Asia, through her exemplary leadership and partnership with clients. 

Natalie has been with with Jack Morton for 15 years, working across the New York, San Francisco and Hong Kong offices.  Beginning her career at Jack Morton as a producer, she went on to become managing director of the Hong Kong office, from which she remains based today in heading up the Greater China operation. 

Julian Pullan, Vice Chairman & President International, Jack Morton said: “I would like to congratulate Natalie on joining the executive team and the success she has brought to our Greater China operations.  This success is reflective of a truly talented team, which I have no doubt will go from strength to strength through their growing client partnerships and the extraordinary experiences they create together.”

Five other senior-level promotions from amongst long-standing members of staff are also announced today. 

Eugene Ng is promoted to head of creative, based in the Shanghai office.  Eugene has been with Jack Morton for seven years, working across the Shanghai and Beijing offices.  Helen Mok is promoted from director of operations in Hong Kong to general manager in Shanghai.  A Jack Morton team member for 11 years, Helen began her journey with the agency as a producer.  Helen is succeeded by Chris MacDonald as director of operations in Hong Kong.  Chris was previously production director in Hong Kong and has almost 20 years’ industry experience, seven of which are with Jack Morton.

Also in Hong Kong, Becca Ratcliffe is promoted from group account director to client services director.  Previously based in London for Wasserman Media Group and Frukt, Becca has been at Jack Morton Hong Kong for more than three years.  And Shirley Lee is promoted from director of operations in Shanghai to client service director in Beijing.  Shirley has been with Jack Morton for 12 years and has risen from her original role as executive producer to client services director.
