The digital campaign features the vocal talent of Dawn French

Advertising agency isobel has launched a new digital campaign for Kelly’s called The School of Cornish. Created by Ben Stump and Simon Findlater and directed by Mark Leary, the films will run on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

The spots are narrated by Dawn French in Cornish which she then translates into English. They take a look at everyday Cornish life and the different parlour flavours, whilst getting viewers up to speed with a bit of the ’leel’ vocabulary. If you're not sure what 'leel' is watch the ad and see for yourself.

Charlotte Hambling, UK Head of Marketing at R&R Ice Cream Ltd comments:

"Last year’s campaign delivered fantastic results for us. Following the launch of the 2016 campaign the brand has grown by 25% YOY (Nielson, April 2017).  Using the Cornish language gave us remarkable cut through with our consumers so it made sense for us to build on this and continue to celebrate Cornish culture. The series of films isobel has created and the School of Cornish platform do exactly this – showing off the local area and culture to great effect."
