iris has appointed David Prideaux as Joint Executive Creative Director for its UK office. He will work alongside Joint ECD Andy Taylor in leading and inspiring iris' 100-strong creative team in its London HQ, and report into Shaun Mcilrath, the network's Chief Creative Officer.
Before joining iris, Prideaux spent the last eight years at Publicis where he was ECD of Publicis Chemistry, Publicis Modem and Publicis Dialog. He began his career at Bates Dorland before becoming a Creative Partner at Circus and Creative Direcor at Rapier.
David Prideaux commented: “It’s a very exciting time to join. While everyone else has been talking about the new agency model iris have gone out and built it.”
As part of iris’ continued investment in finding the best talent, David will be working closely with Shaun and the creative directors at iris to continue to develop and protect the best creative ideas for its UK clients, including Barclaycard and Samsung.
Shaun Mcilrath said: “We’re really proud to have David on board. He not only brings a huge amount of creative and managerial experience, he shares the same sense of frustrated ambition that all our best recruits from the networks have shown."
