Vox Creative and Intel will pick three winners who will each get their own profile and win a computer equipped with an Intel Core Processor
Vox Creative Studios and Vox Media networks Vox and The Verge are working with Intel to launch #SmartestBrain, an effort championing those who've helped make the world a smarter place, collectively - those who harness the power of collective intelligence and ability to transcend individual limitations to invent innovative solutions to real-world problems.

It’s part of a contest from Intel which launched this week, with content rolling out on The Verge and Vox featuring videos of entrepreneurs who have had a profound impact on science, healthcare, education and creative culture from building online platforms that embraced open-source and collective intelligence. The first to be profiled is Mike Porath, founder of The Mighty, a social network for people with chronic illnesses, mental health disorders and disabilities.

Actress Letitia Wright, supporter of STEM education, will join the campaign to showcase the contest and encourage her followers to share innovations centred on collective intelligence.

Others video profiles include Lucy Fortson of Zooniverse, an online platform that enables everyone to take part in cutting edge research; and Ryan Merkley of Creative Commons, a powerful digital resource that helps creators legally share their knowledge and creativity to build a more equitable world - which will roll out throughout the five week campaign period.

The contest encourages anyone to submit examples of tech-driven work they have contributed for the betterment of society. Any submissions will be shared on the contest site. Five weeks after the contest launches, Vox Creative and Intel will pick three winners who will each get their own profile and win a computer equipped with an Intel Core Processor - the smartest brain for your PC.

The effort is part of a larger campaign created in partnership with Dentsu, the brand’s global media agency-of-record.
