INPHANTRY Gives The Glam App a Makeover

Digital experience agency INPHANTRY recently reunited with founder Joey Maalouf and CEO Katrina Barton to develop and redesign The Glam App. Promising to be the “Uber of hair and makeup,” The Glam App brings the salon to your home with the push of a button, offering services ranging from a blow dry to make up applications to a simple polish change -- all on demand. The app also acts as a virtual agency, allowing stylists to act as freelance artists; making their own hours, building clientele, and managing their schedules and appointments. The Glam App is available on iOS and Android.

INPHANTRY has served as the digital agency of record for The Glam App since it launched five years ago. With new investors on board, INPHANTRY was enlisted to execute the brand refresh, as well as redesign the app and website to accommodate new features, including bridal services and the development of a back-end portal to accommodate an in-app payment functionality, as well as the platform’s expanded presence to 23 cities in the U.S. and Europe.

Working closely with Joey, Katrina, and The Glam App creative team, INPHANTRY built on the original brand framework it designed for the launch, providing new visual design guidelines, brand copy, and UX enhancements.
