Created by Rosapark with production from BIRTH, the cinematic spots reflect the real-life drama of banking
Directed by Nalle Sjöblad, the first two films of this campaign for ING Direct were released on Sunday January 14 in the formats of 30 and 45 seconds for TV, Internet and cinema. A third film will be released in April.
The New Year is off to an awesome start for BIRTH Paris with the production of a major campaign.
In order to match with the ambitions of this colossal campaign, we have used all the means necessary: 5 months of work, 300 technicians and a 300m2 studio with more than 5 VFX sets.
Hugo Legrand Nathan, Founder & Producer at BIRTH, said:“At BIRTH Paris, we supported our director and his idea. We believed in Nalle Sjöblad and in his ability to bring something extra to these films, spice them up and produce the visual we were all expecting. Then, we knew who to work with and how to clearly present our production method. We had known for a long time that we had the potential to produce major films but the opportunity for big projects like this one had not yet presented itself.”
“Let’s do something that has never been done before!” said Nalle Sjöblad, Director.
In addition to the technical challenge, BIRTH Paris and their different teams of experts have managed to successfully create a strong comedic realism.
Hugo added: “These films are complete – each of our departments had their own amount of difficulties and, because of the high-demand of this project, they had to be efficient and work very quickly. The casting, costume-design, post-production, set-design and lighting were very important and they had to be ready in less than 3 weeks.”
The post-production lasted for a month and a half. The VFX are impressing. To get such an awesome result, BIRTH worked with the prestigious animation studio, Mathematic.
