London-based creative, digital, and social agency Impero works on social ideation for BBC Top Gear

Impero has been working with BBC Top Gear to create entertaining and engaging content to support the social accounts for both The Stig, and BBC Top Gear.

The work is relevant to their ‘petrol head’ audience, as well as being topical and humorous to capture the attention of the general entertainment audience, by bringing the personality of The Stig to life for the 25th season of BBC’s Top Gear.



On the work, Lara Groves, associate creative director at Impero, said: “It’s been an exciting opportunity to work on such an iconic brand, and 'ambassador', for the 25th season of Top Gear. From a digital perspective, it is always the ambition to take a loved and known character online, and develop a tone of voice and style which resonates – even if that character doesn’t have an actual voice!”
