Agency expects to increase its Canadian headcount by 20% in the next six months
To support the existing and future work Huge is doing for its clients in the Canadian market, the agency has made several new hires in the region and are looking to further build out strategic key disciplines where it is seeing increased growth, specifically in strategy, design, and brand communications by the end of the summer.

Huge expects to increase the headcount of the Toronto office by 20% in the next six months. Today, the agency has more than eight open roles in its Canadian hub as it doubles down on its roots in user-centric design as it responds to market needs and helps the world’s most ambitious companies realise the potential of organising around their users.

In addition to the investments Huge plans to make in bringing in future talent this year, there have already been several key hires made.

Julie Gordon joins the Physical Design team as a design manager, combining design-thinking methodology and business acumen to effectively deliver innovation to Huge customers.

Mariana Nemer joins Huge as a senior visual designer, covering a wide range of work from UX/UI, to designing brand identities, packaging, and physical spaces. Following the hire of ECD of physical design Matt Hexemer last year, Julia and Mariana are both key design additions that further signal a pivot to offer more integrated marketing solutions in the Canadian market.

Kareen Sarhane also joins as a senior strategist and will be tasked with helping bridge consumer experience and brand planning teams to bring transformational projects to life in market. She joins Huge from Juniper Park\TBWA and previously BBDO, where she built robust communication plans for some of Canada's largest brands like Rogers, PepsiCo and Pfizer.

And finally, Elaine Dickson joins as community manager from Navigate Group and will be responsible for helping clients develop their social strategy, from content production to monitoring and reporting, and continual interactions with users.

This cross-discipline team of new hires is in addition to Amy O'Neill and Tracy Wan, who joined Huge in April as the agency continues to strengthen its integrated offering. The team will be working across Huge client’s such as Canadian Tire, Google, Harley Davidson, SK-II, and TD Bank.
