Intelligent streamlined video advertising delivery platform shares pricing at fraction of the competition
Honeycomb, the innovative new advertising delivery platform that launched earlier this year, has demonstrated its transparency and value by publicly sharing its pricing today. From as little as £25 per destination, Honeycomb has passed the cost benefits of its efficient cloud-based technology onto its clients.

Honeycomb is committed to fair pricing – offering rush, HD and VOD/online delivery at no extra cost. Founder James Carpenter comments: “When clients ask if our pricing is too good to be true, I say 'Not really!’. Better technology makes what we do more efficient and more affordable, so there’s no reason to charge for these extras anymore.”

Officially launched in August 2016, Honeycomb is led by James Carpenter and Richard Carter – the founders of Adstream, one of the largest companies in the ad distribution space. Well-placed to understand the issues surrounding existing legacy systems, the Honeycomb team have developed a product that takes assets from advertiser to broadcaster and publisher in a faster and more efficient way.

Honeycomb client Neil Lane, Global MD of Content at Splash Worldwide, comments: "Honeycomb has a fantastic user interface and their business model is very smart. Honeycomb provides greater efficiencies and benefits to our clients to such a degree, we’re now recommending Honeycomb to all our clients in the UK."

Designed and constructed from the ground up, Honeycomb’s unique cloud-based technology eliminates the inevitable errors that arise with manual intervention, and consequentially a large portion of the associated costs. Working towards the future of programmatic TV, Honeycomb connects the knowledge, data, experience and insights of the ad industry to create a more streamlined and intelligent process.

Carpenter adds: “By removing unnecessary cost we can put money back in the hands of the advertisers, and it can be used to create better creative, which is a better result for our industry. It doesn’t cost more to service rush delivery or HD – so we don’t want to pass unnecessary costs to our clients. We want to work together, openly and with full transparency.”

Honeycomb has been operational since Summer 2015, when they partnered with Sky to operate the syndication of content, implanting Honeycomb within their existing systems. Honeycomb currently delivers to UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. You can register at  www.honeycomb.tv
