Robert Yee has been named as SVP account director, Ailine Tan as SVP account operations
Hill Holliday has made two key hires in Robert Yee and Ailine Tan, Hill Holliday president Chris Wallrapp announced today. Robert will be SVP, account director, and Ailine will serve as SVP, account operations. With backgrounds in strategy consulting, finance, and technology, both hires reinforce the agency’s commitment to providing clients with world class business and growth strategy expertise in addition to excellence in marketing services.

Robert Yee is a leading strategic executive and business driver, most recently for Slalom Consulting, where he worked with leadership teams to design, build, and implement best practice business growth strategies. Robert has worked in a variety of categories including CPG, retail, and healthcare, for brands including Anheuser-Busch, Nike, Burger King, and ExxonMobil.

In his new role as SVP account director, Robert will leverage his business strategy background for key client teams. He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloane School of Management with additional coursework from Harvard Business School.

Ailine Tan is an international digital specialist with over twelve years of experience developing and executing creative marketing experiences with brands such as Rolex, Kiehl’s, Spotify, and Nestlé. Most recently, she was vice president at AMP New York, leading all day-to-day operations with a strategic focus on managing client relationships and driving the agency’s profitability. She was also a client partner at IBM, where she drove an agile approach to digital marketing at IBM Watson and helped build their in-house agency.

In her new role as SVP account operations, Ailine is charged with overseeing operations on the agency’s key accounts, helping to lead teams, and drive efficiencies for creative success.

The moves are reflective of Hill Holliday’s commitment to have 25% of all new hires come from outside the advertising industry by 2020, a number the agency has already surpassed. The goal, set in 2017 by president Chris Wallrapp, was created to increase diversity of background and experience across agency teams.

“We’re 100% committed to investing in the best talent for our clients’ changing needs,” said Chris. “Robert and Ailine bring unbeatable business transformation and leadership skills to the table, and hiring the right kind of leaders is our number one priority. We are thrilled to welcome them to the growing Hill Holliday family and we couldn’t be more excited about their future with us.”
